No new posts Marcus Carver Just checking out your website my buddy works for your company I hear the beer is good. 08/28/2008 10:36 PM
No new posts Jay Fields I got my first taste of Spotted Cow while attending the Grateful Dead Family Reunion in East Troy, WI. Since then, I've searched high and low for more, but to no avail. I started to think that maybe it was just a figment of my imagination when I stumbled across your website! Best of luck with your new facilities. As a beer fanatic, it's almost enough to make me move to Wisconsin. Cheers! 08/28/2008 08:55 AM
No new posts Mischa I just tried the Berliner Weisse. I have to say that I was incredibly surprised. I took a sip after opening the bottle and thought that I had purchased champagne instead of beer. This is my first experience with a Berliner, but I sure hope it's not my last. I tend not to throw my love around, but I am in love with this beer. 08/27/2008 11:09 PM
No new posts Tiffany My sister introduced me to Spotted Cow at a small hole in the wall (and awesome) restaurant west of Lake Geneva. I bought Brewers tickets this year as an excuse to catch a game and drinks lots of Spotted Cow. I even bothered one of the ushers to point me in the closest location to our seats for a Spotted Cow vendor. I now make an excuse to drive up to Woodmans to grocery shop - but it's really so I can buy Spotted Cow! PS - Your Naked beer is awesome! 08/27/2008 02:03 PM
No new posts tony first tasted spotted cow on draft at miller park and was immediately hooked. took a six pack back to indianapolis. my wife and i come to milwaukee every summer and now i bring a sixer to tailgate and take a variety 12-pack home. this year, my wife—who hates beer—tried the belgian red and she loved it. so, if you ever decide to distribute to indiana, let us know. 08/25/2008 06:44 PM
No new posts Mike 1. My family made a road trip to New Jersey to visit great friends. Their only request: Spotted Cow. We were happy to transport across state lines! 2. I would LOVE to have another chance at Bourbon Barrel Bock. Any chance???? 08/22/2008 06:30 PM
No new posts Jon Thomas I was introduced to Spotted Cow by my brother while on vacation in the Dells last summer! Since then I have had the wonderful luck of having two friends transfer to the Milwaukee area, and have numerous friends who go fishing in the Chippewa Flowage area, so I am able to keep the fridge stocked with the Cow most, if not all of the time! I've got a few more cases coming my way next week! Keep up the great work! Thanks from all your Cow drinkers in Central Illinois!! 08/20/2008 06:24 PM
No new posts Jon & Kris My husband and I got turned on to your fine beverages approximately 3yrs ago when a relative moved to WI. We finally made the trip to your brewery and enjoyed every second of it. Our beer fridge is stocked and happy and so are we. We live in Indiana and are already planning our next visit. Thank you for making such a great product. 08/16/2008 06:23 PM
No new posts Eric Henriksen I spread the "gospel" of New Glarus beers at any opportunity. Some are better than others, e.g. Road Slush (unparalleled), Staghorn, Snowshoe & Dancing Man. While Spotted Cow, although popular, not so much. Live in Wisconsin, so can get them all. Glad about that. 08/16/2008 06:01 PM
No new posts Aaron Thursday my cousin and I visited the brewery for the first time. He had not tried any of your beers yet, but came along just to see your brewery. The audio tour was great. The gift shop tastings blew him away, he quickly learned why New Glarus is my new favorite beer. We loved the variety 6-packs, what a great idea. We also stocked up on all flavors, pint glasses, and even a t-shirt. We then went to Glarner Stube and had a great lunch and four more pints, sampling more flavors. We agreed that where most breweries had one main good brew and then other not so good ones, every brew we tried was top notch. Fat Squirrel, Organic Revolution, and Bock were great, Totally Naked was incredible, Dancing Man is the only wheat beer I could enjoy on a regular basis, Spotted Cow is still my most favorite, but IPA was the biggest surprise of the day. My cousin and I both love pale ales, but were amazed at how good it was, absolutely the best pale ale either of us has ever had. We are anxious to try the Belgian Red and Unplugged we purchased while we were there. We will definitely be back soon, and can't wait to see the new facility. 08/15/2008 07:57 AM
No new posts Kirk Leopard Having enjoyed your brews in the past, I recently visited your state and had a chance to enjoy them again. I work for a distributor in South Eastern Minnesota and believe we should give the Gopher State the opportunity to enjoy them also. Any chance of expanding distribution? Tell Carl S. Hi. 08/14/2008 09:40 AM
No new posts Karen Please please please make Road Slush a regular! I just spilled my last bottle all over the rug...made the dog happy, but I nearly cried! 08/12/2008 10:22 PM
No new posts Steve & Bonita Olesen Thank you so much for the unexpected and very much appreciated tour of the new facility with the world's best tour guides, Dan, Deborah and Murphy. During our annual visit from Michigan, we always stock up on New Glarus brews and it was a delight to see the pride and attention that the entire 'family' gives to this 'mom & pop operation'. We especially look forward to the next generation of 'unplugged'. See you next year in the biergarten! 08/12/2008 05:56 PM
No new posts Jason I just tried some Imperial Weizen this past weekend, and thought it was fantastic. How sad I was when I found out that it was of limited production, since it was in you "Unplugged" line. I don't live in the area (wish I did!!!) but if I could get that regularly, it would be one of my "go to" beverages. Keep up the good work. 08/11/2008 05:22 PM
No new posts Aaron I recently tried Spotted Cow for the first time, it immediately became my most favorite beer. I've also tried Totally Naked, which was excellent! I live in Illinois ten minutes from the border, and I am hoping to make it to the brewery soon, and try more of your beers. Quite possibly the only brand I'll ever buy again. 08/09/2008 06:23 PM
No new posts Jeff So here I am in Montana wishing for a Totally Naked or Spotted Cow. I can only get the domestics or one of the one of the wanna-be micros. Lucky I have friends who drive through the great state of Wiscaonsin and are willing to bring some back for me now and then. Keep up the great work. 08/08/2008 01:42 PM
No new posts Dan & Kris Koster Kris and I love the Spotted Cow. We live in Central Iowa (Van Meter), but we have family In NE Iowa near Prairie Du Chien. Making a trip across the river to pick some up has become an important part of each visit. Keep up the great work! 08/08/2008 09:04 AM
No new posts Jim Though I enjoy all of your beers, I have genuine, heartfelt LOVE for the Belgian Red. The first time I ever tried it, I realized immediately that it was the most amazing beverage of any kind I'd ever consumed, anywhere. The years in the interim have done absolutely nothing to diminish this opinion. I have recommended it to countless friends, citing the awards, the ratings, and the fact that the late Michael Jackson named it as an all-time favorite. All who have listened have thanked me heartily after trying it for themselves. I literally DREAM about this beer. I lived in Milwaukee for many years, where Belgian Red was readily available, but now live in the Twin Cities. Nevertheless, I still make a pilgrimage just over the river to Casanova's in Hudson just to stock up. Dan and Deborah: Please, PLEASE do not ever stop brewing this beer, nor change a solitary hair on its perfect, perfect head. I simply would not be able to cope, and I'm not being facetious in the least. You have a customer for life. 08/05/2008 11:40 AM
No new posts Rita Kennedy My husband & I were introduced to "The Cow" (as we call it)last fall by my sister & brother-in-law. Ever since then, it has been a regular in our fridge! My hubby is the beer drinker in the family, but I have had a change of heart after your beers. Many of our local resturants & bars have it & those are the ones we frequent on an evening out. During the holidays, the 4 of us tried your bottled ales & the variety pack. Boy were we suprised!!! I don't remember the names, but the pack was out during Christmas time. We would LOVE to have all of those flavors all year round. Hope to visit you all in person in the future so we can thank you in person. Keep up the great work!!! 08/05/2008 11:06 AM
No new posts Dan Griffith New Glarus beer is the best in the world! I'm lucky I married a girl from Wisconsin because I always get to have some when we visit family. Unfortunately, we live in Virginia, so I can't spoil myself year-round. Keep up the fabulous work...and I'll keep up my end of the bargain! 08/04/2008 07:03 PM
No new posts Sveden Spotted Cow, Hearty Hop, and Organic Revolution are fantabulous! Please please throw us a bone over here in Minneapolis and start shipping our stores some of your product. I whole heartedly support your quality control efforts but having New Glarus for sale in MN would be a dream come true. Keep up the great work. 08/04/2008 03:40 PM
No new posts Chris Sivright A buddy of mine gave me a Spotted Cow a couple of months ago. Loved it! Was in Wisconsin last week...picked a sixer up for him and one for me. I will make sure I pick one up again next time, maybe more. Keep up the good work. 08/03/2008 08:13 PM
No new posts Jim Please, please, PLEASE bring back "Native". It's been too long since that fine, fine brew has been in my refrigerator and I miss it! By the way..."Organic" is an outstanding brew. Keep up the good work and I'll continue to "Drink Indigenous" 08/01/2008 09:57 PM
No new posts GREG LUEKE Holy Cow...I mean Holy Imperial Weizen! We are from southern Indiana and sampled New Glarus beers on our WI tour last week during Germanfest. Absolutely the most fab beer I have tasted was your Unplugged Imperial Weizen. Unfiltered to perfection with maltiness to please my 'malty' palate, this beer does for me what a Belgian ale must have done for the Pope (scream to the Heavens!)! Thank you for your wonderful creation, and please advise if you plan to distribute your beers through any Indy distributors, as we are in southern Indiana. Thanks again! 08/01/2008 06:38 PM
No new posts Jim Your best beer in my opinion is Staghorn. I went into mourning 2 years ago when I couldn't get it because of your brewery expansion. Though I hate winter, I look forward to fall because Staghorn comes into season. Dancing Man Wheat and Fat Squirrel are my runners up. Keep up the great work. Power to the little guys!!! Jim 08/01/2008 03:54 PM
No new posts Doug My favorite reason for visiting Wisconsin is now to bring home some Spotted Cow beer with me to Minnesota. I love this beer. Know that you have a big fan club in Minnesota and really would be nice if you had a distributor in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I think this beer is right up there with Fat Tire and the other products from that Brewing Company. Keep on making lots! 08/01/2008 01:55 PM
No new posts Ed P Your spotted cow is so deliciously refreshing. I am from Chicago and am jealous of the people of Wisconsin only because of the ease in which they can acquire such refreshing brews. How I long for a day when it flows out of the taps here. 07/31/2008 04:41 PM
No new posts dannyj Well, I guess totally naked is my favorite. You know when the took the copper kettles out in Chippewa Falls back in the mid 60's I thought I would never have a decent brew again. I had some New Glarus in a hotel in Dodgeville a few years back and by golly I'm back on the wagon. 07/30/2008 04:32 PM
No new posts Dannyboy Absolutely great line-up of biers. Alltime favorite is definately your NATIVE. Mabey that could be put back on as a seasonal....it has quite a following ya know. 07/29/2008 07:12 PM
No new posts Aleisha P I have been a fan of Totally Naked for 3 years now. I've told all my friends and have even shared with my family in TX! I wish it were avaliable year round, but I just stock up at the end of the season! Keep brewing these great beers! 07/29/2008 09:25 AM
No new posts Kimela Loves the Naked Greetings. I was in Wisconsin over the last week for military duty. I tried a variety of your beers and I am absolutely convinced that Naked and Spotted Cow is the best beer that I have ever tasted. OMG...I checked your website and I'm sorry to here that it cannot be ordered over the internet. Please, if posssible- you have to change the rule for the sake of beer drinkers in Atlanta, GA. Continue to make the best tasting beer in the world! 07/28/2008 06:57 PM
No new posts Kate I'd just like to know, what happened to Native Ale?? It was one of my favorites, and I have been scouring the shelves in hopes of spotting it, but to no avail. Can anyone let me know why it has been dismissed? 07/27/2008 06:57 PM
No new posts Chuck Aguirre In July of '07 my wife and I were in Wisconsin on business. While there I tried Fat Squirrel and Spotted Cow. Both were outstanding but I favor Fat Squirrel. No brewery here in Michigan can come close. Luckily my brother-in-law landed a job in Oshkosh so I can look forward to at least 2 cases of the Squirrel gracing my refrigerator yearly. GREAT BEER! 07/26/2008 07:45 PM
No new posts Jim B - Iraq I met you guys at the Glarner Stuben back in April 08. You were very generous, thank you. I miss your beer tremendously. I have no favorite, I love them all. My parents sent me a Spotted Cow tee shirt, I'll try to get a picture with it, though its out of uniform, I think we can make an exception. Good luck with your new place. See you next year! -Proscht. 07/26/2008 07:48 AM
No new posts Mark Schippers Greatings from Germany. I hope you are glad with your new Tilefloor. Maybe we see us again for another job. Best wishes 07/26/2008 04:47 AM
No new posts John McLaughlin I was fortunate enough to try a Spotted Cow at Cindy B's in Clintonville while on a trip to Seagrave. It is a great beer. Wish we could get it here in the South. It is definitely my new favorite beer. 07/25/2008 10:56 PM
No new posts Sasa from Illinois On a recent trip to the Dells with my girlfriend, I was lucky enough to be told by a bartender to try a spotted cow. I LOVE trying new beers and this one goes to my top 5 beers of all time list. It was incredible. However, I'm sad that I have to drive to Wisconsin to pick some more up. (I'm about an hour and a half away). Anywho, keep up the great work! 07/24/2008 12:06 PM
No new posts Dale Gday guys, I'm an Aussie guy who just married a Wisconsin girl on June 28 2008. At our wedding in Milwaukee, we were fortunate enough to have Spotted Cow as one of our selections. All of my Aussie friends had no idea what it would be like, but as per usual, it was fantastic. And us Aussie's love our beer just like you guys. My wife and I now live back in Australia (any chance you guys will export?), but since I've been to Wisconsin on many occasions I always look forward to drinking one of your fine brews on my return. Keep up the great work! Until next time ... 07/18/2008 01:24 AM
No new posts Snowdaddy I tried the Uff-da Bock this evening while traveling through Wisconsin and I have to say that the state should be recognized for more than just your cheese. Excellent Beer. 07/17/2008 09:15 PM
No new posts Tom Ostertag Dan: We visited the Brewery on 7/5/08 and while our friends headed for the tasting room, my wife and I took the brewery tour. It was great! As chemists, we were particularly appreciative of your explanation of the malts, hops and yeasts used in the brewing process. We've never heard any of this on other brewery tours and want to thank you for the excellent tour. Now we know why we like dark beers with fruity flavors. We also enjoyed the Belgium Red but will have to wait until next year when we get back to New Glaris. Best wishes on your continued success! Tom and Fran 07/17/2008 01:04 PM
No new posts Amy Bernhardt King As a Wisconsin native living in Louisiana, I would love to see Spotted Cow distributed in the Baton Rouge area. We would do our very best to make it worth your while! During our recent trip to Cassville, WI, we indulged in quite a few Cows and brought back a S/C beer glass from the Town Pump. Please send some our way! 07/16/2008 03:02 PM
No new posts Jim Koltz Just made a special trip to Wisconsin to pick up a few bottles of Raspberry Tart... wish you still distributed to Illinois! 07/16/2008 10:48 AM

No new posts Robin Fisher Just picked up the Imperial Weizen and the Berliner Weiss...The Imperial was great and you should seriously consider adding it to your line-up. The Berliner, however, was a shock to the tastebuds...not a good shock either. 07/14/2008 12:21 PM
No new posts TheBigCat I'm from Philadelphia where there are alot of great local breweries. I just had Spotted Cow and I can say it is one of the best I've ever tasted. Great job!!! 07/08/2008 09:35 PM
No new posts Bartman My wife isn't much of a cook, so I'd be willing to marry Dan, as long as he kept bringing home the Spotted Cow. 07/08/2008 01:47 AM
No new posts Roy Slaughter What GREAT BEER!!!! Nuff Said!! 07/07/2008 05:04 PM
No new posts Lisa loves Naked You have made my favorite beer! Totally Naked is the most smoothest, yummiest, tastiest beers for summer. Hot, humid, sweaty summer day? Get Naked!!! Its a perfect Wisconsin refresher! Goes good with Brats too! Thanks so much! Now if Only I could get dh to quit drinkin Old Mil. 07/07/2008 07:36 AM
No new posts Dillon Just got back from Iraq and can honestly say the only thing beside my wife worth seeing was a case of Spotted Cow. A couple of months after my return the in-laws came down to NC with an SUV full of New Glarus beer. The greatest site I've seen since tree's landing in the US of A. I thank you greatly for your quality in beer. Many Marines around base also thank you as well. 07/06/2008 10:37 PM
No new posts Bobby Gibson I'm visiting a good friend that happens to be from the great town of New Glarus. We picked up a twelve beer sampler pack, and I haven't found anything wrong with any of the beers in the sampler. Quite the opposite actually; Road Slush, Fat Squirrel, Spotted Cow, Organic Revolution; all spectacular. Keep up the good work, you've got a customer for a long time. 07/02/2008 04:40 PM
No new posts Steve Take a look at this site. As you can see you have a masterpeace on your hands. Please keep brewing Imperial Weizen. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/590/40956 07/01/2008 12:18 AM
No new posts Steve I just picked up 4 pack of your Imperial Weizen. All I can say is WOW!!! This is simply the most complex and amazing Weiss I have ever had. All I can hope is that you find it in your heart to keep brewing this delicious creation. 06/30/2008 11:58 PM
No new posts Sneef I am drinking a bottle of "Totally Naked" right now. Holy crap! This is good beer! No bitterness whatsoever. Malty, delicious. Soooo smooth. Nice work. And, your "Belgian Red" is an experience. Probably the best beer I've ever had. I love Lambics. The Belgians could learn something from yours. Sincere thanks for making such wonderful beer. Keep it up! 06/29/2008 08:57 PM
No new posts Alan Olson Imperial Weizen is a Masterpiece. I hope this message gets to Dan, because I've been raving about this beer to anyone and everyone I know and meet who enjoys beer. Back in February when this first came out, i finally found a 4-pack at a local store and bought it quickly. That night I tried my first bottle. At the first sip, i knew this beer was unlike anything I'd ever had before, but after finishing the first bottle I knew that it was something special. Following that first 4-pack, i bought a couple more 4-packs thinking i wouldn't find this beer around my home area very much...but soon after, much to my utter delight, my wife and i kept finding it at our own grocery store where we do our weekly shopping. I had NEVER seen any Unplugged beers there before, but week after week we'd find a full case, or a half case, and I'd buy it thinking 'They'll never get another case here...' or 'This must be the last case since this is a limited edition beer'. After each case, my wife would just shake her head, but i kept telling here this beer is special and I wanted to enjoy as much of it as I could. To make a long story short, i think I've bought 7 or 8 cases of this beer and I've been enjoying a bottle (or two) each night for quite a long time. i have a couple cases left, and once they're gone I'll be a very sad Wisconsinite. In the past, my favorite NG brews have been Spotted Cow (of course) and Stone Soup (which i HOPE you bring back soon), but I have to say that Imperial Weizen tops my list of ALL TIME FAVORITE BEERS, not limited to New Glarus Brewing. This brew is definitely a masterpiece and I applaud Dan for creating a brew that is unique, bold, crisp and thoroughly enjoying. And, much to my wife's relief, i have NOT tired of this brew at all and will enjoy each and every bottle that I've been lucky enough to be able to buy. I wholeheartedly request that Imperial Weizen be brewed again, and would LOVE it if this could be added to your year-round brews if possible. This one will set you apart from the other breweries, its that special. This is your next Spotted Cow, in my oh-so-humble opinion. Bravo Alan from Waukesha 06/29/2008 07:53 PM
No new posts cassandra To the great brewers of Wisconsin- Being a wisco kid, I've found that out of all the beers in the wide world of america, New Glarus is a definitive favorite of the wisco hippie kids, so. I just want to say, I live in Michigan and I would love to have your beers here to prove that we still have it going on in Wisconsin. We know our beers (and we know our cheese), but we need to prove to these Michigan people up here (in the upper peninsula) that Wisco makes a good beer--other than the beast (milwaukee's best) or miller lite or point brewery--because we know our beer too. Come on guys, I miss good beer up here. Cassandra 06/28/2008 07:31 PM
No new posts BRYAN RODRIGUEZ I have a buddy from WI that was in the Army with me and he would bring cases back with him from leave- I have never tasted a better beer and that is the truth!!!- I live in California now and I have tryed hard to get it ordered and everyone says they cant get it- If anyone knows how to get it please let me know !!! thanks 06/26/2008 01:52 AM
No new posts Neal We are driving from Nebraska tomorrow to try some of your delicious refreshments. My wife and I find beer to be delicious. I'm sure that your beers will be delicious too. See you tomorrow. 06/24/2008 10:00 PM
No new posts bradley leland Fat Squirrel makes two firsts for me: one, I have never bothered to look up a beer company on the internet before. A few weeks ago I went to a grocery store I don't usually frequent and happened upon your Fat Squirrel Ale. Two, when I took my first sip of Fat Squirrel I instantaneously realized that it was one of the best sips of beer I had ever enjoyed. I lit up and went and found my wife to share the excitement...just ask her how silly I was over it....I have never had an instant reaction to a beer like that before. I have since sent my brother in CA a six pack of fat squirrel in the hopes that he also finds the best beer experience of his life. Keep up the great work New Glarus. 06/23/2008 05:04 PM
No new posts Terry P. We visited the brewery this past Saturday and really enjoyed the tour and tasting room. The friendly staff is very knowlegable and has a pride in the NGBC products - and they should! Spotted Cow is a family favorite and the only thing better than a cold bottle is a enjoying a pint / liter on tap in a frosted mug! I routinely bootleg a couple of cases to my daughter and son-in-law in Minneapolis. Every one of their friends that has tasted and enjoyed Spotted Cow has the same question: Where can we get some? My only wish: bring back Native Ale as a seasonal beer! 06/23/2008 02:28 PM
No new posts Ray G Greetings, I am a lifer cook, small time brewer and all-around beer fag. I have been to WI only once... but my girlfriend grew up near you, and on a camping tour, we came by. I won't say that your facility was the highlight of the tour, because the highlight was a subsequent rock island camp-out with some prime WI beef and some unplugged. On the way home, I carried sixteen mixed bottles a murderous distance in my duffel, and had a party for my brew dork pals as soon as I got back. When my girl went back this spring, all I asked for was a pound of Kielbasa and as much unplugged as she could carry. I am just now starting the last smoked porter, with the taste of the last imperial weizen still on my tounge. I don't care if you ever repeat yourself, just keep doing the unplugged. I do not know of anyone else who are doing what you do, at your level, at anything above a stove-top scale, and very few of those. May the spotted (cash) cow continue to moo for the rest of our lives! Meanwhile, I may bloody have to move to bloody wisconsin. Go Brewers! 06/21/2008 04:39 PM
No new posts Jimbo Love the Cow of the Spotted variety. Just moved to Minnesota, thankfully I'm close enough to cross the border and stock up on Spotted Cow. Best beer ever. Don't go too corporate, but I would love it if you expanded to border states. That would stop these Minn. people bragging about Summit and Grain Belt... 06/20/2008 07:57 PM
No new posts Ryan Living in Wisconsin is great - Spotted Cow for everyone! I've tried many New Glarus beers in the past few years including: Spotted Cow (my favorite easy drinking all occasions beer), Organic, Totally Naked, Belgian Red (yum!), Raspberry Tart, Fat Squirrel, and maybe a couple others I've forgotten. Last night I chanced upon some Imperial Weizen while out buying groceries in the torrential downpour and I decided I owed myself a little treat after going out in the rain. I hope you guys continue making Imperial Weizen each year because that was one of the BEST beers I have ever had! Absolutely wonderful. I'm going back to the store tonight to stock up. Kudos on a great beer. 06/13/2008 12:15 PM
No new posts DJ I may have missed this but living on the Wisconsin-Michigan border we frequently go over to the dark side to eat at a few nice restaurants. One of these informed us last night when we asked if they had spotted cow that it isn't sold in Michigan. We love the loyalty to the cheese state but from what I read, it seems people who are either transplanted to a different part of the country, on vacation somewhere or simply in another state for whatever reason can not enjoy their favorite brew. Which is more important?? 06/07/2008 05:42 AM
No new posts Mike in Georgia I love Spotted Cow one of the most unique and enjoyable beers I have ever had. If only we could get this stuff in Georgia. On my last trip to Wisconsin I could only get 8 bottles in my suitcase. For the next trip I'm bringing a bigger suitcase. 06/04/2008 04:03 PM
No new posts mike from San Diego I'm a relocated cheesehead, suffering the "good life" here on the left coast. One of the greatest things I experienced in recent years was a Spotted Cow on tap at a bar in my hometown of Eau Claire. To witness the resurgence of the "handcrafted beer" industry here in California has been wonderful, but to see it blossoming in my home state is just...beyond words! What took so long!!!? Never mind, I'm just thankful and excited that regional brewing has returned to America's Dairyland. I can't wait to order my Spotted Cow t-shirt! Continued succes. 06/03/2008 01:14 PM
No new posts Brian As a home brewer, I enjoy a great new beer. Spotted Cow has a new admirer. I was mmmoooooved by the smoothness. 06/02/2008 09:36 AM
No new posts DRock Being raised in Northern Wisconsin and just recently finishing undergrad at La Crosse, I ventured to Northern Illinois University for Grad School. Being in Illinois all year was painful, but staying in Milwaukee for the summer created great opportunities to be closer to the NGBC brew. The representation of Wisconsin, the labeling, the style, the taste, and everything that NGBC offers makes me keep coming back for more. Your beer makes me proud of Wisconsin, and thank you for your great tasting brews. 05/31/2008 06:35 PM
No new posts Ann First tried your wonderful Fat Squirrel at The Norton's restaurant (which is moving to Red Wing from Bay City). We were hungry for good food and the Fat Squirrel was a tasty little appetizer and then a complement to our food. We stopped at a liquor store for a six pack as we left the Bay City area, not realizing we could not buy it in Minnesota. Upon learning it was only available in Wisconsin I called a friend ( an agreeable beer mule, I guess) who was visiting Hayward and she bought 3 six packs of Fat Squirrels and 1 Spotted Cow for us. Reading the posts, I want to try them ALL! Keep up the delicious beer making and the appealing names, labels, etc. You do this so right. 05/27/2008 08:05 PM
No new posts Brew Wizard Totally Naked is the best beer brewed in Wisconsin and should be on store shelves nationwide. While Spotted Cow is a fine yeast enhanced beer; Totally Naked has a rich blend comparable only to the finest lagers in the world with smooth finish & clean aftertaste such as Asahi Dry which would mean New Glarus Brewing Company has mastered perfection. 05/26/2008 12:53 PM
No new posts Mark M from Stevens Point Just finished slitting a 6er of Organic Revolution with a good friend. I hope this will remain a regular offering. Although Spotted Cow got me turned on to NGBC, I'm also a big fan of the Weissbiers. I especially like the Copper Kettle Weiss from a year or so ago! My Dad's side of the family had a farm in the Brodhead area way back when. I've even been to the original Glarus in Switzerland to visit cousins. That your beer comes from New Glarus is a bonus! Don't change a thing! 05/25/2008 10:38 PM
No new posts Karl Blumer Knowing how much I enjoy Edel Pils, wy boss picked up two six-pack for me. I was pleased to see that you have resumed production and want to thank you so much. 05/25/2008 08:32 AM
No new posts Terry I picked up a 6 pack of your beer at a gas station in Eau Claire. I was travelling home to Chicago from Minneapolis. I enjoyed a few bottles after the ling drive home and was very happy to have found it. Keep up the good work 05/24/2008 04:59 PM
No new posts Alan C I live in California where your beer is hard to come by. I managed to procure a few bottles to serve at a school fundraiser dinner last weekend featuring the culinary creations of Sean Paxton www.homebrewchef.com). The desert course featured a "beer cocktail" made up of 1 part BORIS Imperial Stout(also hard to come by in California) and 3 parts New Glarus Raspberry Tart. There were quite a few impressive beers served that evening. But I assure you the BORIS/Raspberry cocktail was the biggest hit of the evening - it simply blew people away. You should try it sometime. Thanks in part to your passion and artistry, we were able to to raise $1,000 to help fund art programs at my kids' school. Thank you for what you do! Alan Chambless 05/21/2008 08:03 AM
No new posts Axel Rodriguez I was just at an conference in Lake Geneva and had your beer WOW! The spotted cow is fantastic, its smooth and very tasty and not filling at all I wish we can get some in Illinois, 05/20/2008 08:47 PM
No new posts Jeff Bontekoe Just heard about your brew called Spotted Cow. I'm not sure if it coincidence or not, but "Spotted Cow" is my last name in dutch. Bontekoe or Bon te Koe meaning spotted cow. Sure wish you could ship this to me to try. Not sure when the next time I will be in New Glarus Wisconsin. I heard about the beer through a friend travaling to Wisconsin that went to a Brewers game. 05/20/2008 07:31 PM
No new posts Gary Kleinhans I bought my first New Glarus beer at a store in Madison just after you opened and have been hooked ever since. The only thing that got me thru the last couple months of our brutal winter was knowing that EDEL PILS was coming back in May. Now that you have both breweries up and running is there any chance of having Edel Pils year round? I'll vote for it right now! 05/20/2008 04:47 PM
No new posts CrazyED Please bring back the Imperial IPA! 05/16/2008 09:48 AM
No new posts Anne I recently moved to Portland, OR from Wisconsin. Yeah, there's good beer out here, but nothing compares to New Glarus. Somebody please bring me some Spotted Cow the next time you're in Portland! You'll know me by my flying cow sticker on my car. 05/14/2008 03:37 PM
No new posts Ric Tedford Just had my first (and certainly not my last) Edel Pils in a year and a half. It is the best Pilsner ever brewed... I've tried them all! Thanks so much for bringing it back! (I think you'll soon notice sales of this fine brew go thru the roof here in Madison...) 05/13/2008 11:20 AM
No new posts brian roddy OK driving through Wi from Nyc to Msp one has to shop for Johnsonville Orig Brats at Woodville or something like that in Janesville. I while staying at the wonderful New Dehli owned Microtel hotel for 39 bucks. What a display you had there. I popped for the Organic stuff. Brilliant, smooth creeps up on me and definetly quality work her. Not as good as Bells Two Hearted Ale, but a fun time. 05/12/2008 07:45 PM
No new posts Peggy LOVE YOUR BEER!! I just put together a fund raising basket with Spotted Cow Glasses and several different types of New Glarus beer. It was a HIT.....in Minnesota. A great fund raising idea I thought I would share. Good thing I have lots of relatives in WI to keep me stocked !! 05/09/2008 03:36 PM
No new posts Catherine Brautigam i just took the tour with my husband, and as a disgruntled graphic designer who is sick of the gimmics, advertising and fluff, i just want to say you are a refreshing breath of fresh air. please don't ever change your beer label designs. cathy b, loneshoegraphics.com 05/05/2008 12:55 PM
No new posts Samuel Brooks It's now May, and Wisconsin is (as usual) confused as to what season it should be. Now, we're pretty sure Winter is over at this point (barring one or two more good snowfalls), but I decided I wanted something I haven't tried before. Snowshoe Ale! Wow! I have a professor who insists that you only get three exclamation points in your life, and I just used two of 'em. It may be meant for Winter, but this is a great ale anytime. Thanks and keep up the good work. I'm lookin' forward to Totally Naked being back, here in Eau Claire. Much Love. 05/04/2008 05:47 PM
No new posts Jeff Thanks to a friend of mine who makes frequent trips to Wisconsin, I have been enjoying New Glarus beers for a couple of years now. The most recent tasting was the Imperial Weizen and I sincerely hope that it becomes an annual tradition! It is a fantastic beer!! I had my friend buy all that he could find. Love the beer, keep it up!! 05/03/2008 09:31 PM
No new posts Michael-Minneapolis, MN Spotted Cow...hands down one of my favorite beers. I always pick up a six pack when I am back home in Wisconsin. 05/02/2008 05:56 PM
No new posts Mark M. Woot! Tomorrow we head on our annual Gluttony Tour from Rockford, IL to Broadhead (cheese) to Mt Horeb (lunch at the Grumpy Troll) to Botham Vineyard (wine duh!) and finishing at the New Glarus Brewing Company. This will be the 6th year of the tour and it's the highpoint of every spring! We started out with just my wife and I and I think this year it's 20 of us. Hope you're ready for us around 3! Being a brewer the brewery is the best part of the day for me. I take the tour everytime. :) Keep up the good work! 05/02/2008 03:39 PM
No new posts East Side Jay Please, please, pretty please do not ever stop making "Smoke on the Porter" I love Porters and Stouts but your "Smoke on the Porter" blew my mind. I first tried it 3 weeks ago and did not rest until I found it at the Pick'n Save in Saukville. You are a genius Daniel. Thank you for making one of the finest brews I have ever tasted. 04/29/2008 09:18 PM
No new posts Kaitlin I'm in love with Totally Naked. For the past couple of months I have been driving home from work and thought I really want Naked by New Glarus Brewing. So, the other night we went to 3 diff locations and couldn't find it. My boyfriend asked if I wanted a diff type of beer and I of course replied, no. And then he said, well, what are you going to drink now because it looked like it had been discontinued. I said, "I guess I won't be drinking beer anymore!" I'm so glad I googled New Glarus beer and found out that Naked is seasonal. May will be here before I know it!!! I can taste it now, YUM! (Side note: My mom and her husband had New Glarus Naked on tap for their wedding!) 04/29/2008 08:33 PM
No new posts Ronnie from brule Finally found a beer that was made for my taste buds (Spotted Cow.) Was introduced to the Cow on a visit to La Crosse...looks like we will be friends for a long time to come. 04/26/2008 04:51 PM
No new posts Dillon I'm a WI native who has had the pleasure of drinking New Glarus beer for a couple of years now. The thing I love most about this company is it's loyalty to Wisconsin...this for me is also a downfall. Being a United States Marine and stationed all over the U.S. (beside Wisconsin) I'm not able to consume as much NGBC as I would like to. Does anyone know how I can get some good ole Spotted Cow (or other New Glarus) down to North Carolina? e-Mail me if you know. Thank you. 04/23/2008 10:19 AM
No new posts Jerry Keep up the great work! Spotted Cow is my benchmark beer that I compare everything to and I've found nothing better. Your other beers are great too. I like to keep a variety in the fridge -- it's fun to enjoy each ones unique flavor or in the case of Road Slush -- flavorS. Red Tart is awesome also, great raspberry tang while maintaining beer quality -- definitely coming back for more. 04/19/2008 08:41 AM
No new posts Jason We are looking to move to the Southwest Wisconsin area from Portland, OR. We are quite depressed about leaving, perhaps, the best brewing culture in the country. This looks like a beacon of hope, hope you ship kegs into that area. 04/17/2008 11:20 AM
No new posts Kirk Chism We were very disappointed because we planned a trip to the breweing company on Friday April 11th as we had been in Wisconsin from the Indiana/Kentucky border. We drove over and found the brewery closed. Although we were able to find the beer we were disappointed. 04/15/2008 12:19 PM
No new posts David I live in the heart of Wisconsin and just had to tell you guys, your beers rock. I've had as many of your brews as my budget allows. Spotted cow, without a doubt is a staple in the market in Wisconsin, but let's not forget Yokel, oh my God, Yokel is delicious, Fat Squirrel, also. You guys know your beer! And I'm currently madly in love with the Imperial Weizen. MAKE MORE!! 04/14/2008 10:02 PM
No new posts Jesse Peterson On our way through your state we picked up the variety pack. WONDERFUL! I wish we could get your brews here in SOuth Dakota!! I love the Fat Squirrel!!! Will buy again! 04/14/2008 08:29 PM
No new posts Mike Totally naked is quite possibly the most under rated beer on the planet. I cant even describe it. It's kinda like a Heinken, but folds better. It is so clean and smooth on the pallet. For a light feeling beer it has alot of Character. It is a shame that it is only out for 5 months of the year. Personally, I like it more than spotted cow, but thats just me. And nothing against spotted cow. It is delish. But Totally Naked I think takes the cake. 04/11/2008 07:29 PM
No new posts Amanda It's really too bad that this beer isn't available in Illinois. At least it gives me a reason to visit my friends in Milwaukee! I love the Spotted Cow brew!!! I go to WI just to bring a couple cases back with me!!! Yum! 04/08/2008 02:08 PM
No new posts Tony Having grown up around the area and being a UW grad, I can say that I have had the pleasure of drinking New Glarus for quite some years. I recently moved back into the Madison area within the last two months and have been fortunate enough to be able to tour the brewery. While I like the go at your own pace tour, I would make some suggestions to improve the tour and make it a more group friendly experience. The audio wands are nice as a supplement, but I would actually like to see someone from the brewery give a 30-45 minute tour to people and groups. While walking around with the wands, I was not able to interact with my friends who came with me as well as other people taking the tour, so it would really add a personal touch to have someone at certain peak tour times give a general overview of the brewery. The only other suggestion that I have would be to increase the tasting sizes! I would pay an extra $3-$5 to get a regular size glass and actually have the tastes be closer to 6 oz. versus what you currently offer. I know that you don't want people walking out of the place three sheets into the wind, but when I got my "shot glass" that came with my tastes, I was a little disappointed, mainly because I love your beer so much. Other than that, you guys are doing a great job and I can't wait to see the new brewery up and running! I will definitely be back to sample the goods. Cheers! 04/02/2008 08:34 AM
No new posts Brandon Love the IPA... Keep it comin! 04/01/2008 05:31 PM
No new posts Becky I love spotted beer! I was down in at the American Club at Kohler and I fell in love! When are you going to ship north of the boarder? 04/01/2008 12:48 AM
No new posts larry bennett Spotted cow..fat squirrel..dancing man...totally naked...is this a brewery or a zoo/madhouse. Oops! I forgot. Breweries are zoos/ madhouses. Doh! Nice looking place you have there. When will you send some beer up here in upstate NY? It's just too darn hard to drink it over the web. 03/30/2008 02:43 PM
No new posts Susan Ditto on Alan's comment about the Imperial Weizen. I'm normally not a huge fan of Hefeweizens, but that beer has made it on my top 10 all time beer list. Cut Dan loose more often, if this is the result. Thanks for all your great beers. 03/30/2008 12:49 PM
No new posts jaxon Love the Wisconsin Belgian Red, and Unplugged series! Keep up the good work! 03/29/2008 04:22 PM

No new posts Alan Magayne-Roshak Your Coffee Stout is the best beer I've ever tasted. Will you be brewing more? Nothing else satisfies me. 03/24/2008 02:04 PM
No new posts Cody @ The Iron Nugget I tend bar at the Iron Nugget on famous Silver Street in Hurley, WI, and Spotted Cow is the most popular draft beer that i sell. The naturally cloudy beer turned me on to beer as i was not much of a beer conissiuer before. now i have tried the blonde, naked, squirrel, and bourbon barrel bock unplugged. great beers 03/24/2008 01:56 PM
No new posts Jay in Chicago I did the self-guided tour and 3 beer tasting on Monday. I think it single-handedly turned me from not-a-beer-guy into a beer-guy. The real question is how did I let myself get back to Illinois without procuring any of your beer? I foresee a field trip to Beloit in my future. I also think you could bottle the smell of your plant and sell it as cologne. 03/20/2008 06:10 PM
No new posts Sarah I love your Organic Revolution. We are long time New Glarus beer drinkers (Spotted Cow being the former favorite) but you've really outdone yourselves with Organic Revolution - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! 03/19/2008 05:40 PM

No new posts Inge Every time we're in Wisconsin, we pick up as much New Glarus as our vehicle will accommodate. It's positively addictive. Lately, we've fallen in love with Bourbon Barrel Bock. Please consider making it a regular brew. It's the best after a rough week here in Michigan... Kudos! 03/13/2008 12:09 PM
No new posts Chris Howdy -- If only you did mail order or distributed to Indiana -- The only time I can get your wonderful wonderful beer is when I come to Wis for my family trip each year. I usually stock up but it only lasts a short time because it is too good to let sit around. I will raise my glass of Spotted Cow to the masses!!! 03/12/2008 01:24 PM
No new posts Brad Polovin I just tried Spotted Cow for the first time last week up in Madison, and all I can say is "WOW." I live in Illinois, and I noticed that you can only get New Glarus in Wisconsin. When are you guys going to start distributing this delicious beer in Illinois? Keep up the good work guys. 03/12/2008 12:28 PM
No new posts Alan Olson BRAVO for "Imperial Weizen"!!!! What an incredible creation. If anyone reading this has NOT picked up a 4-pack if this brew, do it now before you are unable to find it. I simply love it, and wish this was around a lot longer. Also, "Snowshoe Red Ale" is amazing! 03/11/2008 10:32 AM
No new posts Brad Engnath Keep up the great work. My girlfriend and I greatly enjoy your beers. I love the variety, and anytime I take something somewhere to shere, I have found myself grabbing a 6 pack of something New Glarus. Thanks for the endless hours of drinking enjoyment! 03/10/2008 01:53 PM
