While at the DIII World Series in Appleton last year, some friends and I developed a fondness for Spotted Cow. We were very disappointed upon returning to the East Coast to learn that we couldn't find it at our specialty beer stores. We were even more disappointed to learn that New Glarus has a policy that you won't ship beer outside of Wisconsin until you first satisfy the beer drinkers of that fine state (and knowing that the beer drinkers of Wisconsin will never be full). So, while on vacation in Michigan, en route to Chicago, we decided to take the ferry to Milwaukee so that we could buy some Spotted Cow. After sitting on the dock for two hours, we learned that the ferry had mechanical problems and would not sail, so we drove around the lake, through Chicago, and on to Kenosha. After buying out the three-sixpack inventories of several convenience stores, we finally found a Pic-and-Save with an ample supply of Spotted Cow, so we loaded up the trunk and headed home, leaving a couple of cases with friends near Detroit, a case with friends on the Connecticut shore, a case with our son in Baltimore, and got home with a few sixpacks to savor. My point is this: If you don't start selling your beer in the DC area, we'll have to retire in Wisconsin.

I FINALLY made it to New Glarus this past weekend and took a walk through the Hilltop Brewery with my family. Everyone kept saying 'Wow' from the moment we drove into the parking lot, and all the way through the brewery itself. You all should be proud.
On a different note, the new Golden Ale R&D brew is simply incredible. I used two of my three tastings on that beer, and promptly took home two cases from your beer depot. These will be safely stored to age and enjoyed over time on those special days! Please consider brewing this again and distributing it.

i cannot tell you what day it was when i first tasted spotted cow. but since that day i pronounced the first perfect beer. and i made it my quest to introduce this beer to every beer lover i come across. and every beer lover agrees this is the best beer ever created. i give thanks to the beer Gods who have graced you with the knowledge of brewing the perfect beer. i would say that the only bad thing about this product is that it is only available in Wisconsin. but this also is perfect. the world is not ready for the perfect beer. and it taste even better after a two or three hour drive from the windy city. how do you explain a secret worth keeping but that you just want to share with the world.
thank you
Sincerely
Bernard Torian

Our family fell in love with Spotted Cow during our last visit home to Madison. So much so, we decided to name our racing team "The Spotted Cows" in honor of our great find and fun. So, on February 13, six members of our family will be sporting the official Spotted Cow t-shirts during our running/racewalking competition in Phoenix, Arizona. It will be great fun!!!

I was introduced to New Glarus beers a year ago and fell in love instantly with every one I tried. They are all I drink now! I now drive to Hudson, Wisc from Minneapolis every two weeks and buy many cases & new flavors to bring back home to friends & family. I can't say enough good things about these brews....yummy!!!
Can't I have my own dealership? Please?

I tried Spotted Cow for the first time in July 2009. My family lives in Wisconsin and introduced me to Spotted Cow. I bought a few cases to take back home to Kentucky. This is by far and away the best beer I have ever had. My friends in Kentucky are raving too so now I'm planning a road trip to come buy more. 400 miles to fetch Spotted Cow!

Spotted Cow is my fave! A 'friend of a friend' who lives in WI has to take orders whenever he knows he is traveling to Indiana. I put my order in every time! Wish it was sold around here...

As a former associate for a retail outlet carrying New Glarus, I was curious why so many liked so many different brews from one brewery. It wasn't until several years later that I began trying the various brews. Then.... my true love appeared. Dancing Man Wheat. Tremedous, full bodied flavor with an awesome closing swallow. Better wheat then Wheaties. Nice job.

I had the pleasure of stopping by the Hilltop brewery this morning and thoroughly enjoyed the beers and talking with the friendly and knowledgeable brew crew and tasting room team. My only disappointment is that I can't get your unique beers back home in Oregon. Prost!
